The origins of Ashley Hotels were in 1994 when Director Karim Hirji acquired his first hotel in partnership Flora Hotel in Earls Court.
Following the operational success of Flora Hotel, he moved on to other ventures including Kensington Manor Hotel and Mira Hotel, both in London.
In 1999, Karim ventured on his own, acquiring Quality Hotel St. Albans and Best Western Andover Hotels, and subsequently The Victoria Inn on Belgrave Road.
Having incorporating in 2013, Ashley Hotels is owned and operated by the Hirji family, between Mr. Karim, Mrs. Nurjahan and their two children Zamir and Alim, both of whom are now actively involved in the operations of the business.
Ashley Hotels owns and operates a sizeable group of hotels across UK, with the desire and appetite to continue to grow.
Ashley Hotels knows hotels – it has been in the roots of the directors for over 20 years.
The hotel group’s vision is to continue to grow and develop in line with its core values within the hospitality industry, in areas where it can add value – either through efficiencies or though adding capital value.
However, whilst looking to drive growth in the near-mid-term future, the directors never take their eye of the ball in terms operational best practices.
At the heart of these best practices always lies the customers best interest – which is paramount in any local initiatives that are taken at each hotel.
These operational best practices could not be delivered without all the staff being aligned and working together towards our goals. We drive to instil and inspire staff at every role within the organisation to deliver customer experiences to exceed expectations.
